Though we’re always looking to expand our support network, we are fortunate enough to have some incredible supporters behind us already.

We’re immensely grateful for the encouragement and help they offer us, and would like to take this opportunity to thank them publicly for all that they do.

Take a look below at just some of the amazing organisations and individuals who have provided us with ongoing support on our journey so far:

MYTIME are proud to have been selected as Bournemouth Rugby Club’s Chosen Charity of the Year. The club has raised funds on our behalf through events including an auction, and we’re hugely appreciative of their support.

MYTIME are delighted to work in partnership with AFC Bournemouth and privileged to be able to host some very special Memory-Making days at the stadium. On these days, young carers enjoy a guided tour of the premises and take part in activities in the fan zone, and they absolutely love it!

MYTIME are lucky enough to have worked in partnership with TUI Bournemouth for some time now. The local air-line has supported us with regular donations over the course of the last year, and has worked hard to help promote the work we do.

MYTIME are thrilled to have been chosen as BH2 Leisure’s Chosen Charity of the Year, following a public vote in January. Unfortunately, our work with the local Cinema Complex has had to go on hold over lockdown, but we’re excited to see where this partnership might take us!

As the nominated charity for Barker Group, MYTIME benefits from their unreserved support. Whether volunteering at our events or hosting work experience placements for young carers through our Full Potential Programme, Managing Director, Matthew Barker, is always on hand to help.

Inspire act as an enormous support to MYTIME charity. Historically, they have raised funds for MYTIME through charity lunches, while staff have also given their time to volunteer. Now, the company have agreed to support our Full Potential Programme too, and we’re thrilled to have them on board.

MYTIME are fortunate enough to maintain a special relationship with Intergage. Managing Director, Paul Tansey, sits on our board of Trustees and takes an active interest in the progression and wellbeing of the charity. This year, Intergage will be working with MYTIME through the Full Potential Programme to provide young carers with vital opportunities in the world of work.

MYTIME are excited to have been recently selected as Chosen Charity of the Year by The Dorset Golf and Country Club and Resort. We are looking forward to collaborating with them, and are delighted to have their support.

Throughout lockdown, MYTIME have collaborated with the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club to deliver food packages to some of the most vulnerable young carers across Dorset and their families. The bikers have given their time voluntarily every week, and have been nothing short of amazing!

Talbot Village Trust have provided MYTIME with a substantial amount of funding over the years, both towards the renovation and improvement of our accommodation centre, and more recently towards our coronavirus response work. Their backing has made an enormous difference to us.

MYTIME have benefitted from numerous grants through the National Lottery Awards For All programme. Most recently, our Lottery funding has contributed towards the online provision which we have been offering throughout lockdown. This service has helped young carers to maintain positive mental health at this difficult time.

The Dorset Community Foundation has offered ongoing support to MYTIME over the last year in particular, funding both Memory-Making days out and much of our work online during the coronavirus crisis. Our impact this year would have been far reduced without the support of this wonderful organisation.

Our food provision programme – launched in response to coronavirus – was made possible by the Tesco Bags of Help funding scheme. While delivering the programme, we developed a special relationship with the amazing staff at our local Tesco branch, and were even awarded a surprise £250 donation to help us continue our work.

Having both donated generously to MYTIME and raised funds on our behalf, 4com have represented an incredible support to our charity in recent years. By completing a 24-hour cycle and a 26-mile relay, they’ve truly proved their commitment as MYTIME supporters!

Star donators include Odette Lister of Brides by Solo, Newmarket, and Vicki van Someren of the Bike Shed MotorCycle Club, both of whom have given incredibly generously in the past to help us help young carers. Thank you Vicki and Odette!

Star fundraisers include Charlie Russell, Wayne St Clair, Joanne Edwards, Megan and Teddy Griffiths, Mike Jolly, Kate Shaw, Arlene Cambell and Ian Wood, all of whom have helped to raise hundreds of pounds for MYTIME in their own weird and wonderful ways! Whether by rowing or running, bouncing or scooting, all have made a huge difference to MYTIME and our young carers.
