Young carers represent an incredible asset to our society; these children and young people live in our communities often unknown.

Because they do what they do out of love for their families, it is not often they stand up to be counted. We like to think of them as superheroes because just like Clark and Bruce, they do what they do without seeking praise, out of care and a covetable moral compass.

The work they do is vital to supporting their families, the work we do enables them to do it and not miss out on opportunities, but we cannot do it without our community's support.

We ask our supporters to give what they can, when they can.

We know right now COVID-19 has had a significant impact on everyone. We understand that some cannot give as generously as they might like to but ask our community to remember that for a charity of our size, any donation – big or small – is sure to have an enormous impact.

We love using social media to keep our community updated with how their donations help to level the playing field for young carers. Sometimes, a little online support can go just as far as a donation, so if you cannot donate but would still like to show support, please share our message with your community and keep up to date with our journey online.

All the donations we receive go directly towards our mission to provide young carers with the support, opportunities, and friendship that every child deserves. Just look below to see the difference that your donation could make:

· £25 pays for one young carer to take part in a fun, memorable, and enriching activity day out through our Memory-Making Programme

· £90 pays for our School Support Programme to run in 1 school for 1 week

· £110 pays for one young carer to take part in a weekend break away at our accommodation centre through our R&R Retreat Programme

· £210 pays for one young carer to take part in our 6-week Full Potential Programme

Right now, Young Carers Action day is our fundraising priority.

On the 16th of March, it is Young Carers Action day. At MYTIME Young Carers, we believe every day is Young Carers Action day. This March we invite you to join us and take action for an entire month to show that you care about young carers experiences with the MYTIME2CARE Calendar.

The MYTIME Young Carers team is so excited about the MYTIME2CARE Calendar. and our very special event on the 16th March. We can't wait to raise awareness of young carers and ultimately show young carers across the UK we care and that you do too.

We hope you can join us throughout March and beyond, on our mission to level the playing field for young carers.
